In this last Pimp My Village Story of this year I asked Pimp My Village Ambassadors juliènne Doppenberg-Difukidi and Nellie Kirschner-Timmer to look back at this year and their successes.

"If I look back at this year I am satisfied! We have built a chemistry practice room and expanded our school ¨ Le complexe Scolaire Les Petits Artistes¨ with two classrooms for the nursery. I am grateful for the help we got and the participation of the local community and children.

"In 2025 we want to set up a chemistry practice and another nursery followed by an official opening. Next to this we will be working on expanding our donors, sponsors and partners."

"I am pleased if I look back at this past year. We admitted 1500 new children to our educational centers!
We also implemented a successful environmental and STEM ( Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) program. The kids liked it a lot!"
"Next to this we started up the Empowerment Backpack program to show children and parents in the communities that learning can be fun and introduce them to al kind of educational materials that we have in the backpack and use in our educational center. The Backpack is an inspiring and nice way to reach out to more children and their parents."
"In 2025 we want to scale up the empowerment Backpack Program and do more assignments with our digital marketing agency Webbeezwork. I hope we will be able to become a Social Enterprise by the end of 2025."
That was the last update from our Ambassadors for this year!
Looking back at my own year I am also proud of what has been achieved, for instance the successful Diaspora Masterclass for international development together with Stichting Wilde Ganzen and starting the Pimp My Village Stories.
In 2025 I will follow up with this and also change into a social business with a new name! But more about that in January.
Now it´s time for a vacation.
